Trip Itinerary

We’ll collect you from your Johannesburg area hotel and set off toward Kruger, taking in rolling landscapes as we travel east. Upon arrival, you’ll meet some of Africa’s most beloved animals — the elephants — in a guided interactive experience where you can touch, feed and learn about these gentle giants from passionate handlers. After an introduction to your stunning river-front lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner and settle into your comfortable room, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

Today is all about game! After breakfast, we’ll take you into the heart of Kruger National Park for a full-day safari in a specially designed 4×4 vehicle. With expert guidance, you’ll search for Africa’s most iconic wildlife — including elephants, buffalo, lions, rhinos and perhaps even elusive leopards — as the bush unfolds around you. We’ll pause at park rest camps to stretch and refresh before continuing our journey through this legendary wilderness. As the sun sinks, return to camp for another satisfying dinner and a peaceful night close to nature.

After a relaxed breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Kruger’s wild heart. You’ll be transferred back toward Johannesburg, reflecting on the incredible encounters, vast landscapes and memorable safari memories you’ve collected.

No. This Kruger safari starts from Johannesburg or OR Tambo area arrangements. If you are coming from Cape Town, you will usually need a domestic flight before the safari begins.

No. Kruger is a natural wildlife area, so sightings depend on season, weather, animal movement and time in the park. A full-day drive gives you a strong opportunity, but never a guarantee.

The transfers and lodge arrangements are guided, while game drives may be shared or operated by specialist safari partners depending on the final arrangement. We will confirm this clearly before booking.

The road transfer from Johannesburg to the Kruger region is long. We plan the timing carefully, but guests should expect a proper travel day at the start and end of the safari.
