Trip Itinerary
We’ll collect you from Johannesburg in the morning for the scenic drive east toward the Kruger region. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into an unforgettable elephant interaction — a unique chance to meet these gentle giants, touch their rough-textured skin, and learn about their intricate social behaviours alongside an experienced handler.
After this inspiring experience, enjoy a delicious dinner at your first lodge stay — Hippo Hollow Country Estate — followed by a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the African wild.
Start your day with an early breakfast before setting out on a private 4×4 game drive into Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s most biodiverse wildernesses. With an expert guide at the helm, you’ll explore vast habitats in search of the Big Five and a dazzling array of wildlife — from towering elephants to shy leopards tucked in the shade. Our route includes comfort breaks at rest camps where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the park’s backdrop.
At midday we transfer you to the exquisite Mjejane River Lodge, sitting alongside the serene Crocodile River. Here the bush unfolds around you: wildlife wanders freely through the gardens, and the lodge’s warm hospitality invites you to relax with lunch, comfortable luxury, and views of Africa’s captivating landscapes.
In the afternoon, we head out again in your private vehicle for more game viewing — perfect for spotting animals gathering at waterholes as the light softens. Later, unwind by a crackling fire under a blanket of stars and savour dinner in the heart of the bush.
Your final morning begins before sunrise with another private safari drive, when the park’s residents are most active. As light spills across the plains, you’ll chase golden moments and make the most of your last wildlife-rich hours in Kruger.
After breakfast back at the lodge and some quiet reflection, we’ll begin the scenic transfer back to Johannesburg, filled with memories of safaris, sunsets, and the rhythmic heartbeat of Africa’s wild places.

- Within 7 days, tours are non-refundable, but we’ll do our best to reschedule where possible.
- If weather forces us to cancel (e.g. Table Mountain cableway closure), we’ll adjust the itinerary or refund that portion.
